Welcome to CBS Maintenance, where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Since our inception, we have remained committed to reducing our environmental footprint, strengthening social responsibility, and conducting business ethically. This commitment has been recognized through numerous certifications, initiatives, and achievements.CBS earned an EcoVadis Bronze Medal in 2022 and a Silver Medal in 2023. We are pleased to share that CBS regained its Silver Medal in 2026, achieving a score of 73 out of 100 and placing in the 85th percentile. This achievement is especially significant given the more demanding assessment requirements that followed our reclassification as a large company.CBS also obtained the ISSA CIMS Green Building certification in October 2022, highlighting our commitment to environmentally responsible building-maintenance practices. In 2025, CBS Maintenance Ltd. was accepted as a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, further reinforcing our commitment to responsible business principles.We prioritize renewable energy sources, including hydroelectricity, to power our operations. Our cleaning products are selected with environmental considerations in mind, while our equipment increasingly relies on sustainable battery technologies to help reduce our carbon footprint.We also participate in reforestation efforts through our partnership with Tree Canada and remain actively involved in the communities we serve. Our initiatives include providing work-experience opportunities for autistic youth and advancing meaningful Indigenous relations. As proud members of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business and participants in the PAIR certification program, we are committed to building respectful relationships and creating a lasting, positive impact.At CBS Maintenance, sustainability is not simply a goal—it is an integral part of how we do business.
